Jenn Ross
Jenn (Ms. Ross) was born and raised in northeast Georgia, then meandered around the West for 25 years. During that time, she lived in some of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the world before finding herself called back to these ancient Appalachian mountains in 2020 to take her current class.
Jenn discovered Anthroposophy and Waldorf education in 2000, when her own child was still a babe, and eventually found her way to becoming a Waldorf teacher in 2013. Her first class was a delightful combined class that she taught for six years, guiding both groups through 8th grade in the Land of Enchantment (New Mexico).
She now delights in her current combined 5th/6th grade class, which she has led since 1st grade. Jenn cherishes all that comes with being a Waldorf class teacher, including welcoming the younger of the two classes as they entered 4th grade.
A lifelong learner, Jenn completed her Waldorf teacher training at Antioch University and embraces every continuing education opportunity as a way to grow both as a teacher and as a human being.
Outside the classroom, Jenn enjoys puns, hikes, spending time with her son, playing with her sweet cat and enthusiastic pup, reading, and daydreaming.
