Choosing an independent Waldorf education is a meaningful investment in your child’s future. We understand tuition can be a stretch for some families, and we’re committed to making an Asheville Waldorf School education accessible through state programs and our own Financial Aid process.

NORTH CAROLINA STATE PROGRAMS

➢ NC Opportunity Scholarship
Available for all children born on or before August 30, 2020.
All families should apply, regardless of income. Awards range from $3,360–$7,468 per year and are paid directly to the school.

➢ ESA+ (Education Student Accounts)
For children with disabilities (born on or before August 30, 2020) who are not enrolled in NC public schools and have an IEP Eligibility Determination.
Awards are $9,000 annually, with up to $17,000 for qualifying disabilities (e.g., autism, hearing/visual impairments, intellectual or orthopedic disabilities).

ASHEVILLE WALDORF SCHOOL FINANCIAL AID

Available through Clarity for 5-day students.
Our Financial Aid program helps align tuition with a family’s financial circumstances while ensuring families make Waldorf education a top financial priority.

To apply:

The student must turn 5 by August 31, 2025
The family must also apply for the NC Opportunity Scholarship

Apply by January 31, 2025 to qualify for early enrollment discounts.
