Christine Hellman is delighted to serve as the Third Grade teacher at Asheville Waldorf School. She has been part of the AWS community in many capacities—supporting students in aftercare, teaching games, and serving as a grades substitute teacher.

Christine brings a rich background in theatre performance and education, with many years of experience as a teaching artist. She finds great joy in blending creativity, storytelling, and movement into her classroom life. She is also a proud Waldorf parent; her daughter, Penelope, is part of the AWS family, deepening Christine’s commitment to the shared journey of Waldorf education.

 

With warmth, care, and imagination, Christine strives to create a classroom environment where children feel grounded, inspired, and connected—both to their studies and to one another.
