A mother of four, Becky discovered Waldorf education while searching for a preschool for her eldest son. What first drew her to Waldorf—the natural materials, outdoor play, and wholesome meals—soon grew into a deep appreciation for the strength and warmth of the Waldorf community. To better serve that community, Becky completed coursework in Building Leadership Character and Waldorf Leadership Development.

Our community knows Becky well from her time as Asheville Waldorf School's Administrative Chair, where she brought warmth, thoughtful leadership, organization, and steady care to the school. We are delighted to welcome her back as Board Secretary. Becky brings a deep love for Asheville Waldorf School, a steadfast commitment to Waldorf education, and a heart for service. When she's not volunteering, she enjoys gardening and playing soccer whenever she has the opportunity.
