Krista is the Founder and Executive Director of We Belong, an inclusive after-school program and summer camp she created to support neurodivergent children and children with sensitive sensory systems. Her professional background also includes work as a Registered Nurse, resource consultant, and community navigator, bringing a thoughtful and valuable perspective to her service on the Asheville Waldorf School Board of Directors.

 

Krista is also a proud AWS parent and mother of two boys. Her younger son is an AWS student who especially loves handwork, eurythmy, and music, while her older son is an artist with a passion for painting and mentoring younger children.

 

Having experienced firsthand the care and support of the Asheville Waldorf School community, Krista is grateful for the opportunity to give back through her service on the Board. She brings a deep commitment to creating inclusive, supportive communities where children and families can thrive.
