Denise has been the mother and grandmother of an Asheville Waldorf School teacher and student, and through this, has been blessed to be part of this beautiful community. She has worked as an assistant teacher for children with special needs at the Cerebral Palsy Center in Atlanta and also assisted and led the children’s program at an ashram in Upstate New York. Later, Denise homeschooled her sons and supported a homeschool group. After substitute teaching at AWS, she felt a strong desire to be more involved. She is grateful that her dream came true when she joined our team as a Kindergarten Assistant, a role she has joyfully held for the past eight years.
