Elizabeth McKay

Elizabeth McKay has been teaching eurythmy to adults and children for nearly two decades. She holds a diploma in Eurythmy from the Goetheanum and completed her training at Rudolf Steiner College in 2006. She also earned a master’s degree in humanities and leadership from New College in 1997.

As a founding faculty member and current Core Faculty Chair at the Asheville Waldorf School, Elizabeth also serves on the Leadership Team of the Eurythmy Association of North America (EANA) and co-chairs the organization’s pedagogical working group. A student of Nonviolent Communication and the work of Rudolf Steiner, she holds a certificate from the Center for Biography and Social Arts and is dedicated to fostering connection and understanding in human relationships.

When not teaching, she enjoys spending time on her mountain-top farm with her family, chickens, goats, and dogs.
